Fangirl Friday

Alright, it's become quite clear to me that I'm going to have to do a podcast specific Fangirl Friday today and DAMN THE CONSEQUENCES OF NOT HAVING ENOUGH CONTENT IN THE FUTURE!

Podcasts of the Week

Pop Rocket

If you ever wanted to listen to a podcast that is the epitome of anything that I could have ever hoped to create, this is it. Pop Rocket is a podcast about everything we "love to love." It runs the gamut of TV, movies and music to social issues, newsworthy items and controversy. It's hosted by Guy Branum, a comedian with an odd obsession with Canada (which obviously makes me love him even more) and features a panel of pop culture enthusiasts. Seriously, guys, this is the show I've been waiting for. Go download it now.

Jordan, Jesse, Go!

Jordan, Jesse, Go! is just a fun time. It's hosted by Jordan Morris and Jesse Thorn and each episode features on of their numerous comedic friends. The episodes have no real structure except for a segment where listeners call in with a "Momentous Occasion," but that's what's so great about it. It's just three people shooting the shit, but three hilarious people shooting the shit. It's a great podcast for relaxing to and each episode is guaranteed to have you bursting out laughing in public.

Who Charted?

Who Charted is a concept podcast where Howard Kremer and Kulap Vilaysack countdown music, movies and tweet charts to discover more about their guests. This show is fun, ridiculous and interesting. Kremer and Vilaysack have great chemistry and they bounce off of each other with perfect ease. Their interactions with their guests through the charts is a totally fascinating and original way of interviewing, plus it's always amusing to hear their disappointment when Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson's song "Uptown Funk" is once again on the charts.

There are actually way more new podcasts I've been listening to but these three have been dominant this week. You'll just have to wait to find out what those ones are.

Later days!
