Quick little picture-filled post about trying to live a relatively healthy day. My lovely Marianna was over to help go produce shopping, yoga practising, and ratatouille cooking. Though we did indulge a little at the end. As the kids say, yolo.
Marianna came over for lunch and we had scrambled eggs with spelt and wild rice toast. I added some grape tomatoes to my plate. Marianna hates tomatoes and is therefore a heathen. Yummy and very filling lunch.
Next, we got our coffee on using oversized mugs like you do. Of course, we were playing Little Big Planet 3 and failing hard while we got caffeinated.
Then it was smoothie time! I put a scoop of Vega All-In-One Natural Protein Powder with a banana, a cup and a half of almond milk and some frozen berries. Soooo yummy and soooo purple!
We went back to playing (because you gotta digest y'all!) then we hit the mats and did a quick Yoga with Adriene Beginners video. I of course had to show off a little with my mediocre form with a side-plank.
Then came dinner. We had a vegetarian meal of a home-made tomato sauce with zucchini, onion, mushroom ratatouille over rice pasta. The sauce may have needed a bit more seasoning, but it's the effort that counts.
Of course, we had to end the night with some frozen homemade mini-muffins and some chewy chocolaty-chip cookies. Hey, we're not perfect.
Overall, awesome day! Yummy food, great company and a full day of adulting. LEVEL UP!
