It's that time of week again folks. Here's what's got me SUPER excited this week!
Podcast of the Week
Better Call Saul Insider
So, as you already know, I'm obsessed with Better Call Saul. I think episode 6 is probably one of the best things I've ever seen on television, period. Obviously I want to inhale as much as possible about it so of course I turn to my podcasts. Each week, writers, directors, editors and even actors come on to talk about that week's episode. There's inside gossip, TONS of stuff about linking this show to Breaking Bad and a great overall review from the people who actually made the show possible. DON'T LISTEN UNLESS YOU'VE WATCHED EACH EPISODE, obviously, as there are spoilers, ahoy!
Dessert of the Week
Averie Cooks Flourless Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Blender Mini-Muffins
These tasty treats are sooooo yummy and sooooo easy to make. I literally whipped up a batch in less than 10 minutes and it takes less than 10 minutes to bake. I am by no means a seasoned baker, some would say I'm actually not a baker at all. But I saw flourless and sugarless and I had to try these. They're the size of two-bite brownies, so it's kind of easy to overdo it on them, which is why I had to stash the rest of my batch in the freezer which will make it only slightly more difficult to chow down on. Highly recommend for a fun after-dinner snack in front of the TV.
Makeup of the week
Make Up For Ever Artist Shadow - Diamond Finish
Honestly, I'm not sure if this is the exact product that I own (gasp! I know, I know, shameful!) but it's this or something similar. Also, I have no idea how it came into my possession (double gasp!) but I'm so glad I have it. It gives a nice subtle shimmery look or a very bold shimmery look. I like to sometimes use it as a highlighter on the inside corners of my eyes (as I did today), or put it all over for a nice shine (like I did when going out to a 1920s themed party).
Site of the Week
I can't quite remember how I found this awesome lifestyle/beauty/food/DIY/homemaking/tech website but I'm so glad I did. I've been using it at least for over a year and I'm just so thoroughly impressed with the way that it's grown. Brit Morin, the creator Brit + Co. has even just come out with a book, Homemakers, which I can't wait to check out from the library. The site basically encapsulates everything I love into one easy to use website. My favourite post is the apps of the week choice. I've found some amazing apps that help organize, aid in taking better pictures, and entertain. The site is updated regularly with constantly interesting content from party planning, to yummy treats, to the latest wearable technology. Definitely check it out.
Et c'est tout! Later days!
