I like things and this is where I talk about the things that I like.

Four Shows You Should Check Out, If You Haven't Already

There's been a strange influx of great TV of late, so I want to share my faves. Follow me down the TV rabbit hole and find out what's been turning my crank lately!

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

I know everyone and their mother is raving about the new Tina Fey created show Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, but I am just going to have to pile on to that. This show is perfect for bingeing, it's sweet with a sharp edge and oh so colorful. You'll fall in love with Ellie Kemper's Kimmy and her wacky friends and co-players. Yes, the world is pretty fantastical, very much in the spirit of Fey's 30 Rock , but it has so much spirit and is just altogether a good time. Watch it all on Netflix.

The Last Man on Earth

How could a show centering around two people (and only two people) possibly work? Only if those two people are Will Forte and Kristen Schaal. This dynamic duo (and boy, are they dynamic) bring so much heart and hilarity to this new sitcom. I don't want to give too much away, since it's a very visually driven show, so all I can say is GO WATCH NOW!!!!

The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst

If you've somehow managed to not be spoiled about The Jinx, get off the Internet now, watch all 6 episodes (you'll go through those quickly) and then come back. This docu-miniseries is a thrill ride from start to finish. I never really knew I was a fan of true crime, but with Paradise Lost and more recently Serial, I am definitely beginning to see the appeal.

When I heard Rob Thomas was coming out with a new show, a supernatural show at that, I knew I would be immediately hooked. Though not NEARLY as witty and clever as Veronica Mars and Party Down (seriously Rob, where is that Party Down movie?) this show is totally charming and I can see it evolving into something really special. I hate to compare the lead actress to heavyweights like Kristen Bell and Lizzy Caplan, but she has yet to earn her stripes. I feel with more experience under her belt (which this show will provide), she will really begin to deliver.

And that's it! Is there anything new that I should be checking out? Let me know! Later days!
